Abbotsford, B.C. Aug 24th, 2020: – On Saturday, August 22nd, family-owned gas station, Paz Fuels, celebrated 25 years of service and the reopening of their fresh Market with an afternoon of music, food, games, giveaways, and classic cars. Families from all-around Abbotsford came to enjoy the fun and get their cars squeaky clean, free of charge.

It was so great to bring the community together. The support has been unbelievable and we are immensely proud to call this part of BC home,” said Mike Paz, owner of Paz Fuels. “With COVID-19, we definitely had our concerns around the timing of the event. We could only pull this off with having the appropriate measures at play so that people could enjoy themselves safely.”

Those in attendance snagged some good deals. During the ‘Power Hour’, some car owners were treated to a free Gold Car Wash from Paz’s eco-friendly system, and also took advantage of discounted prices on their most popular Titanium and Diamond washes. Paz Autowash uses eco-friendly soap and rainwater to provide sustainable car wash options. The anniversary sales continued with everyone receiving $10 off on all propane refills.

Families enjoyed a music-filled afternoon, with local musician DJ Pri providing the tunes. Car enthusiasts were thrilled to see some beautiful vintage cars on display, including Shelby Cobra, Mustang GT 500 1967, 29 Ford Rat Rod.  There was no shortage of food at the event either, with Vancouver-based ice cream shop La Glace serving free ice cream and a by-donation hot dog BBQ to raise money for the Abbotsford Food Bank.

Mike Paz and family were incredibly happy to share the 25th Anniversary of Paz Fuels with the community and hope to share many more.
