Mission Raceway Park (also known as Thunder by the River) is holding the 26th Annual Lordco Auto Parts NHRA BC Nationals Lucas Oil Drag racing this weekend, June 20-23.
Do you like loud noises and the smell of exhaust in the morning? How about fast cars and beautiful ladies? Or is it the other way round?
If this catches your fancy, you may want to travel to Mission Raceway Park this weekend to watch Stock Cars. Motorcycles, Skidoos, Dragsters Super Street, Super Comp, Super Gas, Top Dragster, Top Alcohol Dragster, and Top Alcohol Funny Cars race for the prizes and glory.
The NHRA, also known as the National Hot Rod Association, is the premier car racing association in North America and makes regular stops at Mission Raceway Park.

You get to watch the races without the sound
It’s not the same without the deafening roar of the engines and the acrid smell of the exhaust, but it might appeal to the faint of heart.
And, if you’ve never see a skidoo on wheels race faster than 160 KMH this might be the event for you.
