What’s Up With That? Where Are Supporting Documents Re: Heat Costs

By on December 7, 2010

By Lynn Perrin. I have not been given access to the AHL Heat or Global Spectrum documents and now we have the issue of the cost of the Abbotsford Police Dept. advertising on one of the zambonies and whether it means that the subsidy is actually closer to $480,000 for 2009.

I had wanted to be able to inspect the documents before Council took public comment on the City of Abbotsford 2011 opertiing and capital budgets which was yesterday.

Why have the records requestd in my email of Nov. 23, 2010 not been
provided to me by now. The report regarding the amount of the AHL Heat
subsidy was to the penny. Therefore, I expect that all of the supporting
documents would already have been compiled. What is causing the delay?
Mayor and Council assured the me at the Regular Council meeting in March
15, 2010

that released the AHL Heat Contract signed Mar. 20, 2009 that all of the
AHL Heat records would be available to the taxpayers of Abbotsford who are
on the hook for $450,000+ for 2009. Please provide them immediately. Lynn
