Open Auditions At Gallery 7 Set For October 24

Auditions for Pulitzer Prize-Winning Drama, Doubt, Set for October 24th

Submitted. Gallery 7 Theatre is looking forward to holding open auditions for its January/February production of Doubt, A Parable on Tuesday, October 24th at 6:30 PM at the theatre’s administration and rehearsal hall, #100 – 34595 3rdAve, Abbotsford. The audition is open to all community performers ages 18 – 75.

Sister Aloysius, a Bronx school principal, is shaken to her moral core when she suspects that young Father Flynn is having an inappropriate relationship with a male student. A Pulitzer Prize-Winning play that was adapted in to an award-winning film featuring Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman, the play explores the delicate tension between perception and reality.

“We’re quite thrilled to be presenting John Patrick Shanley’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, a riveting drama that explores faith and truth,” says Executive/Artistic Director, Ken Hildebrandt. “The play offers performers an opportunity to tackle well-rounded, highly developed characters and I think actors will find performing in the show to be a satisfying and positive challenge.”

Doubt will be directed by Gallery 7 Theatre’s executive/artistic director, Ken Hildebrandt, and will run January 26 & 27, 31 – Feb. 3 & Feb 7 – 10, 2018 @ 7:30 PM with matinees on Jan. 27, Feb. 3 & Feb. 10 at 2:00 PM at the Abbotsford Community Arts Addition, 2329 Crescent Way, Abbotsford. Rehearsals will commence the week of November 20th.
