We invite you to join us for an evening of dining, sharing in community and storytelling, at one of our2019 Winter Fundraising Banquets across British Columbia! If you have not already received an invitation or heard of our annual banquets, I wanted to take this opportunity to invite you to join us for this time of fellowship.

Since MCC began nearly a century ago, it has been an integral mission partner with a wide variety of Anabaptist churches in Canada and the U.S. Through MCC, those churches join with others around the globe to respond to disasters; work with local initiatives to provide food, work, health and education; and promote peace where conflict divides.

February 5 – Kelowna (Kelowna Gospel Fellowship) get tickets here.
February 8 – Chilliwack (Sardis Community Church) get tickets here.
February 16 – Nanaimo (Neighbourhood Church) get tickets here.
February 21 – Langley (North Langley Community Church) get tickets here.
February 28 – Abbotsford (Emmanuel Mennonite Church) get tickets here.
March 1 – Richmond (Peace Mennonite Church) get tickets here.

We are pleased to have James & Janet Toews as our speakers this year. James is the current pastor at Neighbourhood Church in Nanaimo, while also being on the MCC Board. Last year he and Janet joined MCC on a learning tour to Zambia and experienced MCC’s work first hand. They look forward to sharing stories from their experiences, and what it looks like to connect MCC’s work around the world with the next generation.

We are excited to welcome, from Kenya, the Moipei Triplets as our musical guests at this year’s Banquets! Magdalene, Mary and Marta have performed at venues such as the AT&T Centre in San Antonio Texas, to a rousing ovation, and won African continent-wide performance awards. Having recently graduated with honours in musical performance from St.Mary’s University in Texas – we are honoured to have them join us!

Tickets are $20 each or $150 for a table of 8 and are available for purchase online (through the links above), at host churches, in designated Thrift Stores, and at the MCC Office. For more information, please visit mccbc.ca/events or call Shelley or Katie at 604-850-6639.
