If you’re looking for a home or a Realtor in the Fraser Valley please visit The Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB).
The FVREB is an association of more than 2,900 real estate professionals who live and work in the communities of North Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Abbotsford, and Mission.
Abbotsford
This is country living at its best: Abbotsford (pop.: 123,000+) is one of the most productive agricultural areas in Canada.
The Abbotsford Airshow held every other year and the Tradex convention centre, the second largest in the province, have attracted a thriving aviation industry.
Most residential areas have splendid views of Washington State’s Mt. Baker, to the southeast.
As part of the Abbotsford Downtown Business Association’s Bench Art project, the Board sponsored a bench entitled Shelter, the seventh in a series of unique benches throughout Abbotsford’s revitalized downtown. Shelter was created by a local Abbotsford artisan, Dave Doerkson, and features a comfortable wooded bench protected by striking copper and cedar canopy. The bench stands on the corner of Essendence and West Railway.
Chilliwack
Chilliwack and area offer some of the best prices on single family homes and commercial real estate with close proximity to Harrison Hot Springs Resort, Cultus Lake and the beautiful Chilliwack River which offers some of the best fishing in Western Canada.
A Commercial Division was formed within the Fraser Valley Board.
The Langleys
The Langleys (pop.: 117,000+) – including the City of Langley and Township of Langley (Fort Langley and Aldergrove) – are the “happy medium” for light industry that needs access both to Greater Vancouver and to the rest of the province.
Its gently rolling and fertile land has made Langley the Horse Capital of BC.
Langley Municipal Airport is a centre for recreational flying and the heritage village of Fort Langley is a beautifully preserved piece of British Columbia history.
